I currently just beat the Infiltrator, and the weapons I was comparing to make these assumptions are the Lurker Thrust (Greatsword), the Codex (Greatsword), and the Swing (Greataxe). The greataxe, although a little slow, always seems to break an enemy's shield-stance after the first hit, which the greatswords do not do. The greatsword seems to have faster combo-ing attacks. I seemed to have picked the greataxe over the greatsword. If a greatsword and a greataxe had almost exactly the same stats, which would you pick? I wanted to know, which is a better class of weapon? Greataxes or greatswords? I.e. So, I am currently going for a pure strength build on my first playthrough.Īt the beginning of the game, I liked the small, fast weapons (shortswords, swords, maybe axes) but progressing a bit, I really am liking the huge damage of the great weapons.
